Ingrid Hess is a stellar broker and individual. She brokered the sale of our mother’s home, always maintaining a vision of not only our mother’s best interest but also of the buyers’ best interest. By following her expert advice, the house was transformed and received multiple offers above the asking price during its first weekend on the market. The key to success was following her direction to a T, which sometimes felt counter-intuitive. For example, she wanted the house emptied of all contents before listing it. Disbanding 43 years of multiple generations’ accumulation was daunting. Online articles advised to stage the house, so it made sense to show the house with our mom’s lovely decor and furnishings. Ingrid was like an Olympic athletic coach who step-by-step persuaded us that to win the gold medal (to be the house everyone wanted), it had to be emptied, painted refreshed. She was right! Ingrid guided us every step of the way toward that end, making herself available around the clock to answer questions. The painting contractor she recommended and the real estate photographer she engaged made the house look gorgeous. Her property description for the MLS listing was brilliantly insightful and compelling. She listened to our input. Ingrid is exceptional. Ingrid helped to sell my home a few months ago after I received her name from a friend. I cannot say enough good things about Ingrid.
